*FSS Technical Innovation Centre* (FSSTIC) is the Andhra pradesh first
Junior Incubator is a non profit research, networking, and technology
commercialization institute .
*Aims*
Lying somewhere between a College , a university research lab, a training
centre and a factory, it is a place where young people can make their
technical dreams come true, by designing and making just about anything,
with equipment beyond the reach of schools. It is purpose-designed to
inspire a new generation of scientists, engineers and technologists.
Students can visit during and beyond the normal college day, at weekends and
during the holidays. The centre is open to all Colleges in the Andhra
Pradesh .
*Activities*
A major function of FSSTIC is to make connections between scientists in
different disciplines and between entrepreneurial scientists and business
mentors and venture capitalists.FSSTIC administers buildings custom-designed
to facilitate interaction and core facilities intended to bring together
researchers from different fields. FSSTIC also provides networking services
for applied research and technology commercialization.
